Psychotherapy and Counselling can help you to work through issues that prevent you from fulfilling your deepest aspirations and potential. My consultancy close to Hampstead Heath provides you with a safe, supportive and confidential environment in which to explore any issues that affect your quality of life, in a space just for you. My aim is always to support you to make sense of your life in a way that leads to a renewed connection to self and improved quality of life.
It can also be used to explore painful experiences in a safe environment which then leads to a renewed sense of hope and connection in your life. This not only deepens your connection to Self, but leads to an awakening in your relationships.
Psychotherapy and Counselling can be taken on a short or long term basis depending on your needs. I adapt the therapy according to your individual needs. When you come to see me I assess your unique needs and offer you a space for exploration that enables you to deepen your understanding of yourself and simply reconnect. This process usually takes place on a weekly basis, though some people feel the need to come less often.

BACKGROUNDAs a Psychotherapist and Counsellor I have over thirteen years post graduate experience in private practice, and several years as a clinical lead in the addiction field where I managed and supervised clinical teams in residential and outpatient treatment services. I am a Psychotherapist at PHP, an NHS service which provides a safe haven and treatment for doctors and dentists. I provide psychotherapy for doctors and psychiatrists both at PHP and in my Hampstead practice. I specialise in working with relationship issues, sexuality, transcultural therapy, dual diagnosis, trauma, abuse, and complex addictions. I am an Integrative Relational clinical supervisor, supervising psychotherapists and counsellors across orientations, from varied cultures and backgrounds. I previously ran my own training consultancy, specialising in training teams and individuals in personal development and personal safety.
My inspiration have been the men and women whom I have been priviledged to work with, who have touched my life and work as a Psychotherapist and Counsellor. People who have courageously overcome prejudice, abuse, mental health issues and debilitating addictions to make great meaning of their lives. I have specialised in working with women for over 25 years, witnessing courageous women who have risen above painful experiences to make immense meaning of their lives, and who have moved on to achieve and fulfill great aspirations.
